Orbs are rare, special items used for permanent powerful buffs, and can be obtained from Treasure Chests. Only one of each orb can be bound to your account. Orbs can also be sold on the Player Market, however, Orbs cannot be traded after they have been bound to your account. All orbs bound to your account can be seen by clicking on the Pirate in the Home Tab.

Currently, there are two tiers of orbs: Blue Orbs which are obtained from regular Treasure Chests and Green Orbs which are obtained from Green Treasure Chests. The Treasure Chests can only be obtained by completing a Treasure Map, which can be obtained randomly after purchasing a Pirate or from Boat Trips after unlocking Fishing Research 4. Purchasing the Pirate's Parrot gives a 25% increased chance of obtaining maps from the Pirate. You can only obtain Green Treasure Maps after crafting the Spyglass.
