The 2020 Halloween Event was released on October 24! For a limited time, a new Chat Sigil can be obtained after finding six Halloween Items. More information can be found from the Halloween Scroll, obtained from Loot Bags. All previous Halloween Sigils are now tradeable for a limited time!
Magic is a skill used to cast spells, which uses Mana. The magic skill is unlocked after completing The Wizard quest, after which you receive a Huge Mana Star, which grants +5 Mana, and the ability to cast the Heal spell. To increase your Maximum Mana, you must obtain Mana Stars, which are dropped in three different tiers from monsters in different Combat Zones. You can also receive one Huge Mana Star from the Castle Chest, and it is hinted that more will be released in the future.
Magic XP is obtained through casting spells during Combat. You receive XP one time for each spell cast per fight, so casting a spell more than one time per session will not grant additional XP. However, you will still receive the XP for spells cast if you Teleport out of a fight, which is a good way to increase the amount of Magic XP you can get each Cooldown period. You also receive Magic XP from transforming an item.
Spells give a variety of effects when cast during Combat. After casting a spell, it will be placed on a Cooldown which varies for each spell, during which time that spell cannot be cast again. All spell cooldowns are reset after finishing a fight, except for the Teleport spell, and except for multi-round fights, such as in the Castle. Spells can either be cast by clicking on their respective icon or by pressing their respective keyboard key. Spells can be cast in between attacks and the effects are performed instantly, rather than waiting on the next combat tick, meaning that they can be cast in between combat ticks.

Magic Items give a Magic Bonus which is used to provide enhanced effects from spells, such as increased damage or longer duration. Magic Equipment can easily be swapped out during combat using Presets, allowing you to cast spells with enhanced effects in between attacks.
