It takes 1 minute to smelt one gold bar, and a Bar Potion can be used to give a 20% chance to gain an extra Gold Bar. It sells for 25 Coins to the NPC Shop, though this is not recommended. It can be used to craft a variety of items. When used with a Hammer, it will give 300 Crafting XP per bar.
